Farncombe Fun Zone was the first soft play area I took Weasel to, and thankfully at the time I had nothing to compare it to. It could best be described as ok I suppose, nothing thrilling and of the dark & gym-socks whiff variety. The best point is they have a baby area for under 16 month-ers, which seems unusual in my parenting adventures so far.
It is something to do for an hour if you’re lost for toddler energy-burning, but it isn’t one that can keep you entertained for too long. The food seems to be that which can be served using a fridge, kettle or microwave only, so it’s best to not plan lunch there. And the changing facilities seem strangely open just behind a partition wall, which I would dread to have to use for more than a quick change of a wee-filled nappy. Total toddler breakdown you do not want here!
It is conveniently next to a Co-op for grabbing some food to take home and has free parking.
